Welcome to Retro 80-X (`retro80x.com`)—also known to late-night creators as Studio 80-X. I’m Valerie, an American photographer, synth collector, and prompt engineer who grew up under the flamingo-pink Art Deco neon signs of Miami’s Ocean Drive (Vice City) before packing my Roland Juno-106, my Leica M4, and a crate of Type IV metal cassettes for a rainy loft in Shibuya, Tokyo.
